The 3 inch downpipe will only work if connected to a 3 inch mid pipe, it can cone down at this power level to 2.5" without hurting, but the 3 inch can not hit a 2.5" wall without killing power. It needs the length of the 3 inch mid pipe and requires a nice transition cone to work correctly.
